As we love the romantic notion of being a touch Bohemian …… simply free spirited, creative and unconventional, we created Maxi the Magnificent skirt.  This skirt will take you from a lazy barefoot walk along the beach to a night out in your killer heels ….. drama free!

The design fits comfortably about 2.5cm (1″) below the waist on a fitted yoke.  There is an option to add belt loops for a relaxed casual look.  It skims the body from the waist to the hip line then gradually flares to the hem, creating enough volume to walk with ease and enough hem area to swoosh around elegantly.

Maxi the Magnificent will become a skirt you can’t live without.

This is a unlined or lined skirt made from WOVEN fabrics only. 

Garment Features:

Pattern Features:

  • Pattern Layers in A4,US and A0 layouts so you can choose the size you want.
  • Trimless A4 US and A0 – so there is no more trimming the pages before you paste them together.
  • Fully illustrated Instruction booklet.

Size:

  • 6-20AU/2-16US

Skill Needed:

  • This pattern is an easy-sew but you can also challenge yourself with more advanced sewing techniques which are included in the instruction booklet.

Fabric:

  • WOVEN fabrics only.
  • For a Casual look use – linen, tencel, rayons, soft denims, crepe & georgettes.
  • For a Glamour look use – drapey silks, satins, velvets, metallics etc.
